St. Columba Parents' Morning Out is a vibrant and nurturing Parents' Morning Out Program offered as a ministry of the St. Columba Catholic Church. We are dedicated to providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for children while offering parents peace of mind during their busy schedules.
Meet Our Director Melissa Lami
Melissa Lami has been a part of the Religious Education at St. Columba Catholic Church for 13 years. She began as an assistant youth minister with Lifeteen (teenage youth group), then transitioned to become the youth minister for Edge (middle school youth group). She then transitioned to leading Faith Formation, Religious Education, and spear-headed the Parents' Morning Out Program. She has worked in childcare and child education for 20 years and has a steadfast faith in Catholicism she hopes to pass down for generations to come. She is the proud mother of three children and MeMe of five grandchildren.
Baby Room Teachers
Cheryl Biasella- She has been working at St. Columba's Parents' Morning Out for 2 years. She is the proud parent of her two sons.
Jillian Sawyer- She has been working at St. Columba's Parents' Morning Out since its creation. She is the proud parent of one son.
2 Year-Old Room Teachers
Sheryl Dalton- She is the mom of 3 teens. She loves crocheting, reading, and all sorts of arts and crafts. She has been teaching at PMO for four years. She loves helping littles explore the world around them, develop new skills, and grow in confidence. She is looking forward to the new adventures this year brings.
Marissa Arredondo- She is blessed to be part of the PMO team here at St. Columba. She has a heart for caring for children and creating a safe, loving environment where they can grow, learn, and feel God’s love every day. She believes that early childhood is a special time to nurture both hearts and minds, and is honored to be part of that journey.
3 Year-Old Room Teachers
Sabrina Santos- She has been working with children for almost 20 years in different settings; babysitter, daycare worker, dance instructor, and teacher. The past few years, her focus has been on her own two children but is very excited to be back working with little ones. Her passions include being out in nature and letting kids have the freedom to explore their own innate curiosity.
4-5 Year Old Room Teachers
Arlyn Bradley- She is a 37-year-old mom from the Philippines. I'm a proud mother to twin daughters and a sweet 3-year-old. She has a deep love for cooking especially traditional Filipino dishes that bring comfort and joy to her family. She is also patient; especially when it comes o teaching and guiding children. She finds purpose and happiness in nuturing and helping others grow.
PMO Assistants
Gena Lancaster- has been working at St. Columba's Parents' Morning Out for three years. She is the proud parent of two sons and one daughter.
Beth Mueller- She has been working at St. Columba's Parents' Morning Out since the beginning. She has been a member of St. Columba's congregation and choir for decades. She has a passion for working with children and showing children that disabilities do not have to inhibit them from chasing their dreams.
